Grand Staff-When two staffs are connected by a brace, they are together known as the Grand Staff, usually consisting of a treble clef on the top staff and a bass clef on the bottom staff. Clef-The clefs in the beginning of the staff indicate the range of the music. A treble clef staff line is usually followed by sopranos and altos. A bass clef staff line are read by tenors and basses. Key Signature-A set of flats or sharps to indicate what key a song is in. For singers, the key signature indicates what the solfege syllabus each notation is.

Music Terms Time Signature-A set of numbers that indicates two things: How many beats each measure has. Which Rhythm notation is given the one beat Measure(Bar)-Organizes music by bar lines to indicate sections of a score/octavo. Double Barline-Indicates the end of a song.
