+ Proposal for the screening of Vertigo Abbie Hutchinson

+ Audience Participation Dress up in 1950’s clothing (when the film and book were made) Have the women wear their hair like Madeleine Elster (played by Kim Novak). Foot prints going towards the seats, where the audience will find pictures of the vertigo pattern. Foot prints because it’s a clue and the main character John Ferguson “Scotty” (played by James Stewart) was a detective. Have food that represents love because its love season, so heart shaped cookies, strawberry’s and maybe marshmallows.

+ Marketing Posters: Information about the film, location (Harris Museum), prices, and BFI. Leaflets, with the same information as the poster. Just easier to hand out to members of the public. Social media is a great way to spread the word, using Facebook or twitter, mentioning the film who its directed by and same information mentioned in poster/leaflet.

+ Target Audience Possibly people from 60 above because they have seen the film when they was younger, and still like old classics. Film students at both college and university because they have to study films, and because they maybe big fans of Alfred Hitchcock. Couples because the film is above love. As the film is being shown for the ‘BFI Love Season’.
