The Pacific: Fantasy Islands V. Valdez

 There are tens of thousands of islands here. Most are either coral or volcanic. The islands have been known as the Fantasy Islands since  The pacific can be divided into 3 regions. The whole area is called Oceania. About the Pacific

 There are several major North American airlines that fly to these places from West Coast and Hawaii.  The foreign Airlines include Qantas, Air New Zealand, Air France, and a lot of Asian carriers.  When the travelers get to the gateway they in Papeete, Tahiti, Nadi, Fiji, or Guam they’ll need to get on the local airlines. How Travelers Get There

 Since the Pacific lies within the tropics its very predictable.  In Polynesia and Melanesia, May through October (Winter Season) is warm, fairly dry, and high tourist season.  In November through April (Summer Season) it is hotter, wetter, and sees a thinning of tourists. Weather Patterns

 Papeete (Tahiti) in August you get rain about one day a week.  Pago Pago someone here may get rain about every other day. Weather Patterns

 You can rent a car, a taxis, or you can fly to other islands. People use bikes and mopeds, and there are cruises that connect the islands. Getting Around
