Changing TVRI Paradigm Toward New Realities in Broadcasting World

Introduction  The new era in Broadcasting Field is not only the era of creativity, innovation, transformation and exitement but also an era that come to risk and opportunity.  For that Public Service Broadcasting should change its paradigm in order to keep afloat in the industry.  Regarding to the effort for stay firm in the new environment ( New and Social Media Era ) – TVRI should Adapt the new situation with proper strategy and response.

TVRI Core Mission  Create Stable Organization.  Deliver Distinctive Programme.  Enlarge Services  Contribute to the Nation Unity and Culture Development.

New Realities in Media Environment  Media is Global, Social, Ubicuitous and Cheap.  Media is in People Hands not in Professional Hands Anymore.  Changing in Viewing Pattern and Media Consumption.  Interactivity and Personal Driven.  Fierce Competition and New Player in the Industry.

Strategy and Response  Renew the Editorial and Business Policy  Train and Re-Train the Entire Workforces for Responding the New Realities.  Reforming the Organization  Combine TV Broadcast with New and Social Media for Promotion,Programme in order to Grab More Audience Attention.

Training Activities on New and Social Media  Managing New Media Project  Multi-platform Workshop  Convergent Journalism  Writing for the Web  Developing Creative Content for the Web  New and Social Media for Managers

Conclusion  Adapt and not Confront the New Realities in Media Environment.  Set New Paradigm.  Do not Hesitate Back to the Class for Re-inventing the Organization (Especially for the Media Executives ).
