General Slide Title Here Text here Impact of Giving ASHLEY BURTON, ‘11 Sophomore majoring in hospitality, recreation and resort management. One of 428 UWF students who received the First Generation Scholarship during the spring 2009 semester. One day hopes to establish a scholarship fund of her own for UWF students who come from low socio-economic backgrounds with a big dream for their future. “My mother, a single mother from a family of single mothers, has always instilled in me the value of an education. As the first in my native Floridian family to attend college, I am an inspiration to my family, proving that you can do anything if you just dream big enough. ” – Ashley Burton
