June Purdue University Completed Division 3 or above of Electric Project Wire switches and receptacles Build a magnetic powered flashlight. Use of meters to measure electrical current, voltage and resistance. Build an electronic "Decision Maker".
July 31 – August 4 State Fairgrounds Grades 9-12 Activities include… Help with the Indiana State Fair Debate mock legislation at Indiana State House Develop board proposals for State Fair Directors Prepare meal for State Fair Directors
November 10 Indiana State Fairgrounds Grades 8-12 Experience leadership lessons with 4-H members from across Indiana Keynote speaker Banquet honoring 4-H Accomplishment Scholarship recipients
4-H members at least 15 years old by the start of work End of July through the end of the Indiana State Fair (full and part-time positions available) Assist with 4-H Exhibit Building set-up, check-in, judging, tear-down, and public relations with fair-goers. Applications available through County Extension office and are due April 1.
