CERN IT Department CH-1211 Genève 23 Switzerland t Conclusion Switches are very sensitive to radiation Power supplies (internal and external) are clearly the most sensitive parts Electrical circuit breakers activated on the wall sockets - probably single event latchups Comparison to the previously deployed model does not show a big difference As the previously serving switches, deployed in protected areas Today 90% deployment rate Ethernet switch in CNRAD 11/11
