Noah's Life vs. Our Life ● Genesis 6:20  Noah did not have to worry about going and finding all of the animals. God commanded them to go to Noah. ● Matthew 11:28-30  We are to come to the Lord for protection, just as the animals came to Noah for protection. ● Matthew 6:25-34  We should never worry because the Lord knows our every need.

Noah's Life vs. Our Life ● Noah had to be prepared for the flood, therefore, God commanded him to build an ark so that he would have armor to withstand the upcoming flood.

Noah’s Life vs. Our Life ● Similar to Noah, we must put on the whole armor of God in order to fight the Christian battle.  Eph. 6:10-17 – The Armor of God ● Breastplate of Righteousness ● Feet shod with the Gospel of Peace ● Shield of Faith ● Helmet of Salvation ● Sword of the Spirit

Conclusion ● 1 Peter 3:18-22  In Noah's time, he was saved from a physical death by water  In Our time, we are saved from a spiritual death, by being baptized through water

Conclusion ● Matthew 24:36-44  Be prepared! No one knows what hour the Lord will come. It could be 10 years from now, or it could be 10 minutes from now. ● How is our progress on building the “Christian” God has instructed? ● Is God satisfied with our work?

Conclusion ● Once the foundation has been laid and the instructions have been made clear by God, there is no altering of it. ● To create an exact replica of God's blueprint, we must follow His instructions precisely. ● If we do not do exactly what God commands of us, it will not be acceptable to Him. ● We must give our all, and never be satisfied with a job done half-way. If Noah had only built the ark half-way, it never would have floated.
