The town of Smithtown… Smithtown is a large town in the center of long Island. Consisting of Nesconset, Nissequoge, Head of the Harbor, Commack, Fort Salonga, Hauppauge, Kings Park, and Lake Ronkonkoma.

Shopping in Smithtown… Come walk the safe, clean streets of Smithtown's main street, with such shops as Starbucks, Crazy Crepes, and much, much more. St. James, is also a cute town with small, home town styled shops. The Smithtown general store is another destination worth seeing. It is the oldest building in Smithtown, and still open today! They sell everything from candy, to furniture.

The Smith Haven Mall The Smith Haven mall is Smithtown’s largest and most visited mall. It has restaurants such as TGI Fridays, P.F. Changs, and the Cheesecake factory. Some of it’s stores include the Apple Store, Lids, GameStop, and Macys.

Restaurants in the Smithtown Area… There are many fancy restaurants such as the Chop Shop, and Insignia There are also fast food restaurants such as McDonalds, Burger King, and Wendy’s. The millennium diner, friendly's, and other restaurants are also nearby.

Parks in the Smithtown Area… In St. James, Gaynor Park, and Moriches park are both made for children with swing sets and a playground. Gaynor park has two baseball fields and a basketball court. Moriches park contains multiple baseball fields, a tennis court, and basketball court and turf fields made for soccer games. In Nesconset, Browns park is another popular park. It has a playground, two baseball fields, and other space for sports playing.
