The HUMAN BODY SYSTEM

Human Body System - is considered the most wonderful machine ever built. - is composed of 11 systems that work together to support and sustain life. Korean International School Philippines

Why considered a machine? A computer is a machine. Our bodies are considered machines, too. However, they are far more amazing than any machine. Korean International School Philippines

Why far more amazing? It has the ability to GROW. It has the ability to REPAIR ITSELF. Korean International School Philippines

The Human Body Systems Respiratory System Circulatory System Digestive System Respiratory System Circulatory System Muscular System Skeletal System Urinary System Korean International School Philippines

The Skeletal System Functions: -supports our body. -gives our body shape. -protects the delicate organs in our body. Major Organs: -bones in our body Korean International School Philippines

The Muscular System Function: - helps body to do several movements. Major Organs: - several types of muscles. Korean International School Philippines

The Digestive System Function: - convert food to various sources of energy. Major Organs: - mouth, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, anus Korean International School Philippines

The Respiratory System Function: - Takes air in and out of our body Major Organs: - nose, mouth, windpipe, lungs Korean International School Philippines

The Circulatory System Function: - delivers oxygen through the blood to all body parts. Major Organs: - heart, blood, and blood vessels. Korean International School Philippines

The Nervous System Function: - Carries messages to and from different parts of the body. Major Organs: - brain, spinal cord and nerves Korean International School Philippines

The Urinary System Function: - helps remove waste materials from our body. Major Organs: - kidneys, Urethra, Bladder, Ureters Korean International School Philippines
