Rationale The threat Philippines is the third most vulnerable country to climate change in the world Environmental stress (such as pollution of water, air, soil; deforestation) erodes the very basis of economic development The opportunity Green Economic Development is a driver for competitiveness, innovation, new markets, jobs  inclusive growth and poverty reduction

Project Background Project objective: To enhance the competitiveness of enterprises through the adoption of climate smart and environment friendly technologies Three year project (until December 2015) to be implemented with DTI – Pilot in the tourism sector in Bohol and Cebu – Upscaling outside of the Visayas in year 2
