Mass Media  The mass media are diversified media technologies that are intended to reach a large audience by mass communication. The technologies through which this communication takes place varies. › Broadcast media such as radio, recorded music, film and television transmit their information electronically. › Print media use a physical object such as a newspaper, book or pamphlet to distribute their information.

 History  In Portugal the habit of reading a newspaper or magazine is already old.  Currently, for some Portuguese is not a habit. Although there are still people who buy newspapers and magazines to be informed of news and news of the country.  We have a wide range of newspapers and magazines available on a variety of subjects.

Radio  The radio, according to some authors was developed by the Italian Guglielmo Marconi, in the nineteen century.  Radio is a technological means of communication that uses electromagnetic signals. The radio all the media is one that is most commonly used when listeners are carrying out other tasks, such as when you are driving, at work, etc. This medium is also widely used in places where there is no TV, As the waves of this can go further than the other and does not require electricity properly. It was born from a simpler thing called ARPANET.  Since the creation of ARPANET, students and researchers kept insisting and evolving it until it became INTERNET, which is a group of some other networks.

Internet Pros and Cons  Pros:  Wealth of Resources: Anyone can open a search engine and find whatever information they want.  It's really Convenient: you can use the internet to buy things, to check your bank account, even to watch TV and movies, instead of letters, everything is a lot easier.  Cons:  Frauds and Scams: In the Internet you do not know who you are dealing with, so there can be lots of scams that can harm you.  Piracy: Piracy can be ''good'' for some people, but not for the company or person that puts hardwork into something that you get for free.
