The students will describe the impact of the fall of communism on Eastern Europe by summarizing the impact of the revolutions in Eastern Europe Announcement: Hand in your homework Warm-up: Examine the map on page 701 and answer the following: 1. What happened to Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia after they held their first free elections? 2. In some countries, Communists won the first free elections. Do you think this was setback for democracy? Why or why not?
