St. Mary’s has a vibrant Parish that serves the needs of it’s Upper 9 th Ward Parishioners

SMA had a thriving School of 280 students Had just increased the enrollment for the school year

After 4 days, parishioners and localresidents are rescued from the roof St. Mary’s of the Angels School.

Under the guidance of Pastor Fr. Bart Pax, OFM (Below at a First Communion) Church Re-opened Easter 2006  Workers Repair the Church Roof Mid-December 2005 
