PFSF Foster Parent Satisfaction Survey Results

20. Please let us know how we can improve. I am aware of how overwhelming job the Case Manager's have. However, my experience with the last 3 caring women from my last 3 foster infants have been more difficult due to poor call backs and some follow thru with needed requests. We had a case worker who put a child in potentially harmful situation and lied about it. She is still employed at PFSF. I think this scenario is a disgrace. My workers need no improvement! Do whatever you say you are going to do. When you make an appointment, either keep or let the person the appointment is with Know. Foster Parent's have a busy day also and that appointment we're waiting on that doesn't show has wasted much needed time that could have been used on a more productive PSF need. I would also like to be told when the Family Team Conferences are. I’ve only been invited to one. I am not notified of court hearings or most of the time not even the results of the hearing unless the child is leaving my care. Work harder in making sure (all) services children need are accessible and resources are explained. Keep kids first listen to caregivers and understand that EVERY child is like their ONLY child! I think you are doing a good job. All service centers operate the same. Need a choice between 5 & 4 and 2 & 3, some I agree but not strongly and some not neutral but really not disagree.

21. Please let us know of things we are doing well. The support of the staff at PFSF is very appreciated - specifically: - Eileen Kelly - Lisa Vickery - Daphne Gainey - Audrey Hoehn - Waheeda Bacchus There are many staff members at PFSF who honestly care about the children and try to do a good job on the child's behalf. All of my workers are awesome people. They work hard, they are honest, helpful and honorable. I think they deserve a huge pat on the back for all they do for us foster parents. I am satisfied that you do all you can to help when I need you You are usually very friendly & helpful.. Thank you for all you do for the children!! Just keep up the good work.
