Presentation transcript:

Develop skills though talents; creativity.

Plan Search on creativity from internet and the given material on USB memory. Defining and give examples of creativity to the class and then ask them the following question. _what are the things that make you creative? To answer to the question in their groups on their paper and after choose some students to interview. To ask and encourage students to participate in the evening show to present their talents, interest, hobbies, visions and dreams. Interview after eveningshow. To present ideas on opit and wikispace.

Definition of creativity Creativity refers to the phenomenon whereby a person creates something new (a product, a solution, a work of art, a novel, a joke, etc.) that has some kind of value

Examples of students’ creativity in classroom Speaking: We are capable of producing sentences and even long texts that we have never heard or seen before. We are also able to create a story or make more enjoyable the existing one. Compensation strategies (methods used for making up for lack of language in a communicative situation e.g. miming, drawing, paraphrasing used for getting meaning across) use creative and often imaginative ways of expression. Solving mathematics or physics problem: you can find learners that have solved it in their own ways which may even look easier than the one taught by the teacher. Carrying out an experiment: by assembling materials and sharing ideas to do well the given activity students proves that they are creative.

Importance of creativity. Creative thinking is an important skill in real life. It is part of our survival strategies and it is a force behind personal growth and the development of culture and society. Most people become more motivated, inspired or challenged if they can create something of value; if they feel that in some ways what they do and how they do it reflect who they are. Creativity improves self-esteem as learners can look at their own solutions to problems and their own products and see what they are able to achieve.

interview1 Good environment (quiet, noise), when I am asked to do it or given an opportunity to use some special materials or devices. What are things that make you creative?

interview2 What are things that make you creative When I feel free or jealous in the classroom. when I am doing practice work, reading or walking just for the love of walking

Interview evening show Some weekends, during the night, students organize spectacle of songs, dances, games, and so on… teachers are invited in that show.

interview What is the importanc e of such show in your studies It helps us to relax and start the week with the new force! In preparation of it we get some skills from others: dense, sing… and we feel better when we see people appreciating our work and then be encouraged to continue to develop our talents
