Community and Service reflection for QF tv/radio By: Mohammed AlKuwari

Who organized it? Qf tv/radio is a group that was organized by mister Kostin for community and service for older, and younger grades.

What did we do? Our group was told to do video’s about thinks happening in the world around us. Their was the Kony, and the Sopa thing going around so we decided to make a report about it, then we said our ideas about what we thought of it.

How/Why did I join At first There was no reason in particular to why I joined this community and service, since I have already done Eid al Adha Suitcase, but I saw my friend Mohammed Al-Naimi in trouble since he didn’t find a community in service, so I noticed that Sultan Al- Thani, Asaad Nadeem, and Salman Al-Sulaiti were doing a community and service that was called QF radio/tv, and they needed more people for their group. I then decided to help my friend Mohammed and said “hey your still looking for a community and service right? Im going for Qf radio/tv and we need more people if you would like to come join us.” At first that was what I thought of this C&S but once I started to join I started to have a reason, and started to like what I was doing, and that was because I was spreading news, and updates to people. And this helped me become a better communicator so I have a personal relation with it.

How/when do we do it? Every Tuesday we would form a group, and go to Mrs. Ross’s room where we meet with our old group members, and make a video about Something going on in the world. I participated in the Quackfest video, and the Sopa video.

Final thoughts and MYP learner profile My final thoughts of this projects, and my MYP learner profile is reflective because we always take things from all around the world, and then reflect on them. In the end we also had to reflect on the service, so in my idea this thing is most related to reflective. My other MYP learner profile is communicator, and that is because I have developed that Learner profile because I am a very shy person, but once I started to talk with the camera, I started to become more public, and like to talk with random people more.
