Creation of a Community Ecovillage in San Rocco Tretto at the foot of Mount Summano (Vicenza Italia) ‏ A new window on the world

We are looking for a group of pioneers for a lifestyle project involving: ✴ The construction of an environmentally friendly Ecovillage using simple materials, in touch with the land, in one of the most beautiful places in our area Tretto, Schio (VI); ✴ The development of good relationships wihin the Community where the values of solidarity, sharing and honesty form the basis of life ✴ The dedication of one’s time or money to collective activities (agricultural etc), according to the level of commitment with which the individual is confortable.

First hypothesis of project Prospectic view

✴ the main idea is to construct a village of buildings with low environmental impact, using natural and renewable materials, wherever possible, but with high performance (wood, straw and others) and the use of alternative sources ( solar energy, biomass etc). ✴ our intention is to offer to families and singles the opportunity to modulate one's living space according to his financial resources and the capacity of building part of the houses on his own ✴ our motivation is the sharing of values, activities and spaces in order to create, between the ones who participate, relationships that can favour one's awareness ✴ we wish to get back in touch with the earth through agricoltural activities ✴ ( organic and omeoorganic agriculture, beekeeping, etc) ‏. This project was born from.

The Ecovillage will develop according to the the types of living space required. The houses can be bought or rented. Here are a few examples: ✴ Common space: green area, communal activities room ( meditation, spiritual experiences, personal growth, games etc ), laundry, library, food stores, craft workshops etc); ✴ living spaces in private terraced house or appartment; ✴ living spaces in communal residence with a small private room and large shared spaces ( kitchen, lounge, etc) ✴ temporary living spaces for volunteer guests or spiritual researchers. How can I get involved in the project? Anyone who feels they share our values ( deep respect for the environment, contact with the earth, sincere relationships) can participate: ✴ buying a house or part of one; ✴ financing the construction of a house or part of it as a rental investment ✴ supporting the project with money or providing ✴ telling about the project to your friends and anyone you want.
