Fritz Pollard He along with Bobby Marshall was the first African American Football player in the NFL He was also the first black NFL Head Coach He paved the way for many NFL players He has a group named after him in the NFL called the Fritz Pollard alliance

Willie O’Ree He was the first black NHL player Even though he was 95% blind in his right eye which would have not let him play hockey he lied about it and played from and broke the color barrier in hockey San Diego State university presented him with an Award for Outstanding commitment to diversity
