The Monetary Systems of Imaginary Planets I promise you, they make no sense.

Monetary System of Ekert There is no monetary system in the world of the Ekert, because its people are universally kind, generous, and well- meaning, and will give automatically to others without thought of payment. Consequently, they have no need for money, and are therefore a very poor nation.

Monetary System of Razzapple There is no monetary system in Razzapple, either, because its people are universally amoral and selfish. They unhesitatingly take from others any object they want, and any money would be too difficult to hold on to there to be worth having. Consequently, like the Ekert people, they are a very poor nation.

Correllal In Correllal, eight Ninjis are equal in value to one Pu. A Pu would be called a speck of dust on Earth, and a Ninji is a triangular rubber coin about eight thousand miles long, so the Correllal currency is widely and wildly undependable. As a result, the Correllal government is ccurrently go going bankrupt.

Bodoni The people of Bodoni love money. Their universal religion is monotheistic; its god is Frubja, the god of money. By their system, there are at least twenty forms of payment, including copper, bronze, silver, gold, platinum, and weapons-grade plutonium coins. Sixteen copper coins are equal in value to one bronze coin, eighty of which equal one silver coin, six of which equal a gold coin, ninety of which equal a platinum coin, six million twenty-three of which are equal in value to a weapons-grade plutonium coin. However, there are many variations on this system, and many exceptions: for example, the more weapons-grade plutonium coins you own, the more copper coins are equal in value to a bronze coin in your presence.

Bodoni, part 2 If there is a full moon, all weapons-grade plutonium coins are considered nonexistent. And there are many, many undiscovered types of Bodonian money that only a Bodoni native could possibly understand. Bodoni is considered to be very rich, but no one can really tell, because they will only negotiate in their own money, which no one else understands, so they could be lying flagrantly for all we know.

Thank you! Goodbye. I hope this presentation has been informative and/or confusing. Thank you for viewing. Now we must charge you 63 Bodonian weapons-grade plutonium coins and one Correllalian Ninji. Pay up!
