Presentation transcript:

Top Secret Mission On Monday we were learning about fairness and equality.

We have been practicing our dance for the festival. We were learning how to move like a robot and how to cooperate.

We were writing our final drafts making sure that we improved our writing and used neat handwriting.

We are building a puzzle. We have to work systematically by starting on the outside and working in.

Top Secret Mission We have been learning how to write a personal account of our experiences.

Top Secret Mission We were given the second part of a secret mission. This task asked us to produce a piece of work to a high standard. The work also has to be accurate.

On Wednesday we used the new laptops. They are wireless so we can move them to where we are working. It is much easier this way.

Top Secret Mission For our task we had to carry out some research, then draw a design before we started making our model.

On Thursday the whole school watch Michael Rosen LIVE on the internet. He talked to us about his “BIG BOOK OF BAD THINGS!!” It was really funny and everyone enjoyed themselves. The next LIVE author chat is Julia Donoldson in May.

The Blue Maths Group can measure to the nearest tenth of a metre. They can also write lengths in different ways. The Blue Maths Group have also been learning how to subtract 2-digit numbers from 3-digit numbers. Their next step is to make sure they are more precise with their mental strategies.

The Orange Maths Group have been learning how to write large distances as metres and kilometres. They can now change between them to help add distances together.

The Green Maths Group have been measuring in centimetres and half centimetres using a tape measure. They can all now use the written method for addition.

Top Secret Mission We have been learning how to make models using card, fabric, clay, paint, wall paper and the glue gun!
