*History* Zune is a product line of portable media players manufactured by Microsoft. The Zune 30 was the first Zune to be released on November 14, The Zune 80 was released on October 2, 2007, along with the Zune 4 and Zune 8 to compete with the Apple iPod nano.

*Development* The first generation Zune was in close cooperation with Toshiba. The second generation Zune 4GB, 8GB, and 80GB were manufactured by Flextronics. The third generation Zune 16, and 120 came out on September 16, 2008.
