Cost approximately $30.00/roundtrip per person Flight UPDATE 3 Copies of your Passport Turn in a copy to me ASAP Take a copy of your passport with you (leave in your suitcase) Leave a copy at home Name and gender listed on your Explorica account must exactly match passport information. Passports must be valid for 6 months after tour. Passports and visas

ATMs are available. Most places will accept credit/debit cards Notify your bank or credit card company that you’ll be abroad! Pack light! You will be responsible for loading your own luggage on and off the bus and into hotels. You are responsible for any luggage handling fees charged `by the airlines. $25 for luggage larger than 21” each way Carry any valuables or medications in your backpack or carry-on. Pack your bag, then walk up a flight of stairs, lift it over your head, if it’s too heavy, take stuff out! Make the most of your limited space. Roll up your heavy clothing before packing them, stuff your socks and belts into your shoes and wear your jacket on the plane to maximize space. Don’t forget to leave room for souvenirs! Mix and Match. Pack jeans, khakis and plain T-shirts that can be worn more than once Pack a dressy outfit Don’t bring tons of shoes! Just a good pair of walking shoes, thin sandals, maybe shoes for your nice outfit Bring travel-sized toiletries. Make your luggage stand out

We’ll meet our Tour Director once we have cleared customs and claimed our baggage. Staying awake throughout the arrival day is the best way to beat jet lag. Taking a nap might make you feel worse. Arrival

Hotels Generally, hotel rooms are smaller than in the U.S. Most hotels will not have air conditioning or elevators. Wi-Fi will not always be available and when it is there may be a fee. Room mates, 2-3 people per room of the same gender LET ME KNOW ASAP WHO YOU WANT TO ROOM WITH

Meals Breakfast typically includes cereal, bread, juice, coffee and tea. Lunch is on our own. Dinners will be a mix of local cuisine and familiar dishes and will be a preset meal for our entire group, rather than ordering from a menu. Food portions are smaller than they are in the U.S. Table water is included; other beverages are an additional cost. Bottled water is included in countries where it is deemed necessary. Inform us of any allergies.
