Authentication and Authorisation for Research and Collaboration AARC Plenary, Milano Melanie Imming, LIBER Authentication and Authorisation for Research and Collaboration Liaisioning with other projects and partners Outreach and training, AARC

2 Liaisioning with other projects Liaisioning vs Stakeholder Engagement/Dissemination: Liaise with partners, projects and infrastructures to enable targeting the stakeholders for engagement and dissemination

3 Liaisioning with other projects Consortium 20 partners that represent: National Research and Education Networks (NRENs), Libraries, ESFRI cluster projects, (DARIAH, ELIXIR) international collaborations and e-Infrastructures These partners are all part of our network: We will liaise via the partners with the wider community. Let’s identify obvious partnerships and win/win situations!

4 Liaisioning with other projects What is there to gain? Dissemination opportunities, maximize impact Get more input from stakeholders during the lifetime of the project Reuse of resources avoid duplication of effort E.g.: RASMUS value proposition for decision makers EUDAT: policy guidelines to data access task FOSTER Open Science Training portal

What is in the FOSTER Portal?

What is in the FOSTER Portal? An e-learning platform that brings together the best training resources for those who need to know more about Open Science, or who need to develop strategies and skills for implementing Open Science practices in their daily workflows.

7 Liaisioning with other projects Very often other projects or partners are very willing to cooperate!

8 Liaisioning with other projects Very often other projects or partners are very willing to cooperate! But again: What is there to gain?

9 Liaisioning with other projects Dissemination/engagement goals: Target different audiences of stakeholders to address their specific needs Participation at main conferences to report on AARC’s results as appropriate Thematic training events, whether delivered online as webinars or face-to-face; Dedicated meetings with research communities and resource providers

12 Liaisioning with other projects Is this all? Already mentioned: HINARI program EC Funders: push them to add requirements? Find best practices

13 Liaisioning with other projects Next steps: Create list of already identified potential liaisioning partners for each identified target group National Research and Education Networks (NRENs), Libraries, ESFRI cluster projects, (DARIAH, ELIXIR) international collaborations and e-Infrastructures other
