CAP Money Course Do you know how much you and your family spend each month? Do you come to the end of the month and wonder where all your money has gone? Do you want to save up for something special? Would you like to get to grips with your money? The CAP money course is designed for everyone who wants to get more organised with money however much or little you have. It’s a 3 week course, for 2 hours probably on a Monday evening (though can be flexible) starting week commencing the 11th January. Venue to be confirmed once numbers are clear. If you are interested please speak to or Lisa Baxby (tel ) Yorkshire Floods Please continue to pray for businesses and churches which have been affected by the recent floods. Up to now we are aware of three Baptist church buildings which were flooded, Hope Chapel, Hebden Bridge, Hunslet Tabernacle, Leeds and Roomfield, Todmorden. Leeds Chinese Church, which meets on Kirkstall Rd has also suffered flood damage. Joanna Project Donations As the nights get more wintery, women that are working outside who I meet through the work of the Joanna Project can really feel the cold. If you could donate any gloves or scarves, please pass them onto Hannah Dey and I'll take them out with me. We also hand out Christmas presents nearer the time, so any donations of jewellery, chocolates or small toiletries would be gratefully received too. Thanks a lot! Set up in January – Mark & Rachel Riches housegroup Set up in February- Lis Farquhar & Jo Hooson Please note that we are not allowed to use the equipment in the lower playground and that any children playing there must be supervised by an adult.
