The idea of my leadership projected started with a community service that my pals program had. In this community service we prepare girls for high school by helping them develop a stronger self esteem. The pregnancy problem around,my community has help me realize that we as a community should start talking to teens about pregnancy during there middle school education in this way they will be prepare to face peer pressure during high school. That is why I had decide to have a night were girls will have the opportunity to love there selves and learn how to love there body. Because as Thomas Menton states “The beginning of love is to let those we love be perfectly themselves, and not to twist them to fit our own image. Otherwise we love only the reflection of ourselves we find in them.”“The beginning of love is to let those we love be perfectly themselves, and not to twist them to fit our own image. Otherwise we love only the reflection of ourselves we find in them.

The main issue in my school is pregnancy among teenagers students. I believe that students in this situations are not able to persuade a complete education due to stress cause by there pregnancy. This is the reason why most of them don’t accomplish there goals. This is why we should not let them behind and help them keep up. From every four girls two of them are pregnant this needs to change, and I know that I can be that change that we need.

My goal is to have less pregnancy in our community by this student will complete a better and stronger education. With more education our community will prospered and will grow. We will also inform student how to protected them self sexually to prevent any transmitted diseases that will harm there future.

During this night we will have different types of activities for student they will learn this information by having fun. Each group of volunteers will have a teambuilding activity or a lesson for a group of student. Each group will have the opportunity to participated in all center.
