Einstein students have traveled on the 8 th grade Washington D.C. trip for the past 5 years. Each of the trips has been extremely smooth, safe, and fun! As a Einstein staff member, I am very excited to be planning this trip.

40 years of experience. Over 30,000,000 students. Night chaperones in the hotels. Doctors on call. Representatives are on site. Cell phone was left behind and mailed home.

Safety is a top priority with World Strides and Albert Einstein. At night, there will be a guard patrolling the hallways of the hotel. Students will be able to call me on a cell phone for easy communication.

The early registration deadline for the 2014 trip is April 10, There is a $49 non-refundable deposit that holds a spot for your child on the trip. This is a reduced Deposit Amount for registering prior to April 10, 2013.

On the World Strides letter in the packet, please look for the following important information. The trip ID # is You will need this ID# to register. The departure and return dates are from Thursday, April 10, through Monday, April 14, The weekend prior to Spring Break. The early registration deadline is April 10, 2013 You can register after this date but the deposit amount will be $99.

The price is all-inclusive. The $49 non-refundable deposit holds a spot for your student. The total price of the trip is $1985, which is calculated with four people to a room, and a minimum of 35 students. This price reflects a $75 discount for registering prior to April 10, The balance must be paid in full by January 25, 2014.

The Inclusions section informs you that the trip is all-inclusive. The all-inclusive price includes: airfare, transportation, admission prices, and all meals. Your student will not need to bring any money, unless they want to buy souvenirs.

$49 reduced deposit amount. After April 10 th the price increases to $99. $75 discount-after April 10 th the price of the trip increases $2, More Time to Save/Installment Plan If you register now you have 10 months till final payment deadline. $ saved over a span of 10 months equals $ That’s about $ a month. If you began planning in September the monthly increase would be $412. (Five months for a trip total of $ )

In the brochure, the liability clause of World Strides, price and payment information, payment plans, late registration fees, late payment fees, when important information will be sent to you, medical insurance, behavior guidelines, the cancellation program, and full refund program benefits are explained.

$1 million in FLAG Scholarship funding is available for students traveling this year. The application process is simple and confidential. Families with an annual adjusted gross income up to $85,000 may qualify. For more information call World Strides Customer Service team at

Gift of Education letter. Students can ask for sponsors and donations. World Strides gives scholarships too.

After you register, you will receive a letter from World Strides in about a week, giving you more information about the trip.

You don't have to be registered for the trip to view “My Trip”.
