Triple P ‘Positive Parenting Program’

Overview The Triple P Positive Parenting Program is an evidence based international programme with over 30 years of research Triple P is the chosen intervention of choice to support families living in Glasgow by both NHS and Glasgow City Council Triple P offers a menu of options of support for parents to choose - seminar, 1:1 support and group Triple P

What is Positive Parenting? Promoting children’s development and managing their behaviour and emotions in a positive way Building strong relationships Good communication Emphasising the positive Planning ahead to prevent problems Using everyday situations and creating opportunities to help children learn

What are the benefits for children? Helps develop children’s skills Children do better at school More able to build friendships Children feel good about themselves Children have fewer behavioural and emotional problems Children are less likely to become involved problem behaviour

How can you access support?
