Haverhill Community F.C. An introduction to our activities, partners and opportunities

Who we are Our role in the community Existing partnerships and future plans An opportunity for your Company

Haverhill Community Sports Association (HCSA) have been based at the ‘New Croft’ stadium for the past two years and play a pivotal role in the community The facility is chiefly recognised as the home ground of the various Haverhill Rovers football teams, but is a focal point for community activities across all age groups and demographics The ‘New Croft’ was funded by St Edmundsbury Council & The Football Foundation, quickly becoming established as a professional and welcoming environment that meets the needs of tens of thousands of visitors each year As a small organisation HCSA relies heavily upon the goodwill of local volunteers to ensure that every visitor to the site enjoys a positive experience; an outcome that is overwhelmingly endorsed by our customer feedback It is our ambition to be at the forefront of a new initiative to encourage a “Healthier Haverhill” through improved access to sport and fitness as well as improved dietary choices. This campaign will run in parallel with our effort to develop successful football teams in all categories (Seniors, Ladies, Disability, Youth and Children)

As an FA Charter Standard Community club we’re acknowledged to provide access & development training for all, irrespective of age, gender or disability Our wide range of squads provides a unique opportunity for many who otherwise may be excluded from participating in sport locally We’re incredibly proud of our record in the provision of fair access to all both here at the ‘New Croft’ and within local schools and the wider community through joint enterprise projects Members of our first team are trained and committed to the ongoing provision of coaching and liaison with local schools as we seek to provide greater access to a wider range of children Our efforts to improve fitness and lifestyle choices for all extend to pre-school classes, local schools at primary and secondary level as well as weight loss & fitness classes for adults

We’ve developed fantastic relationships with local schools, town councils and community groups, but have yet to establish partnerships with the wider business community and their employees The ‘New Croft’ has hosted a wide range of school and town council backed projects during the past twelve months, allowing us to showcase the outstanding facilities to a wide range of new and unique visitors The launch of the new stadium and the ongoing development of community-centric activities has ensured that a substantial volume of press publicity has been generated and maintained throughout the period We’re now embarking upon a second phase of activity to promote the development of the facility and our community activities with greater co-ordination, control and effort to maximise awareness and participation amongst the people of Haverhill and surrounding communities All of our existing partners rates their association with HCSA as either “Positive” or “Excellent”, with almost 80% rating the relationship as “Good for business.”

Our development strategy is focussed upon HCSA playing a pivotal role in the promotion of a “Healthier Haverhill”, in association with other sporting activities, but spearheaded by the success of our various football teams The goal of a “Healthier Haverhill” begins with the recognition of the fundamental role that activity has in our daily lives and the way in which sport can help to make a difference We aim to co-ordinate the efforts of other local sports clubs (Athletics, Cricket, Gymnastics and Rugby initially) to encourage increased and sustained participation with no barriers to access for anyone who is keen to get involved The wide range of Haverhill Rovers teams provide hundreds of local children and adults with regular access to exercise at least once a week and help to engender team spirit and are a focal point for the community The Rovers first team regularly engage in our community activities and practically support all of the development initiatives through hands-on coaching, school presentations and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle

The role of local businesses and specifically your Company We’re committed to the development of a successful and sustainable facility and football club and the goal of a “Healthier Haverhill” through increased participation in sporting activities To achieve greater awareness and traction will require significant assistance in the promotion of the facility, the club and the wider message to the community that we simply cannot achieve in relative isolation To this end we desperately require the commitment of local business to promote the message to employees, and their families but also to provide financial support for the projects We recognise that in the current economic climate all financial outlay, no matter how small, must be considered as a rational business investment, and consequently we’ve established a range of sponsorship opportunities

The role of local businesses and specifically your Company There have been in excess of 50,000 visitors to the ‘New Croft’ since opening in , with visitor numbers increasing by 27% year on year and projected to rise by a greater % during the season to 45,000 The facility will host a range of civic and community events throughout and we are committed to placing the “Healthier Haverhill” initiative at the forefront of our efforts The ‘New Croft’ facility and the HRFC teams will be widely recognised as the driving force behind these initiatives and our partners will benefit from significant local and regional publicity as we seek to build sustainable momentum and change within the community Sponsorship packages range from less than £500 pa to £7,500 pa and can be tailored to meet the individual needs of your business
