Fats - contain lots of calories - they can be stored in the body E.g.: butter, cheese, seeds, oil

Proteins - They build and repair muscles - every meal should contain some proteins: like meat, cheese, milk

Vitamins & Minerals - They are essential but only in a small amount - 2 groups of them: - water soluble: C,B - fat soluble: D,E,K,A Minerals: calcium, iron, magnesium
