Project Management Methodology and practice in project management Project planning – Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) Tools to support project plan (MS Project) Project development team structure Project documentation

Putting it all together

Course Implementation Strategy Treated as the project (Project Charter, Deliverables) of educational content GRP is divided into mini-projects Each mini-project development covers full life cycle and all major tiers of application architecture Each mini-project is developed by the team of 3 people “Follow me” concept of instruction

Organizing Team Work Each person obtains the personal ID – A, B, C Each A, B, and C person plays once the role of Technical Leader Technical Leader in role submits the project deliverable in accordance to the schedule, on behalf of the team

Conflicts resolution Team members are expected to respect each other opinion However no one is obliged to change his own solution if he/she does not agree Everyone has the right to submit his/her own solution for evaluation Alternate solution shall be discussed on the team meeting

Students Evaluation Mini-project deliverables (total 6 items) – 50% Lab completeness – 10% Midterm Test – 15% PM Quiz and exercise – 5% Final Exam – 20%

Next Step Create the team of 3 people by Friday Decide who is A, who is B and who is C. That assignment remains the same for the whole course Read GRP Project Charter Review GRP RDB
