History (continued) Most remarkable outcome of Riga meeting – formation of Latvia Section – the ring is closed April 2008, R8 meeting in Malta – proposal to form official Areas opposed by all Sections Baltic cooperation submeeting(s) – to have 2 nd meeting - here and now

Basics To develop cooperation between Sections around Baltic Sea which has long time (centuries) common trade, culture, economy Section are mid-size or small, few Chapters – cooperation should help to make Society operations more effective Common job market and education activities
