8 The study in Klaipeda. The aim: To provide detail feedback from passengers who visited Port of Klaipeda about their stay in the city. The information to be received: -The awareness and sources of information about Klaipeda -The expectations towards stay in Klaipeda before arriving -The satisfaction of expectations -The places/excursions tourists have visited - The evaluation of technical organization of excursions -How much money cruise passengers have spent and for what purposes -What they like/ what is missed -Comparison of the results in Klaipeda and Riga as a bench group.
9 Methodology. A questinnaire (2 versions will be prepared): One for free cruise passengers One for cruise passengers who bought guided excursions on board 900 interwiews 750 respondents from approx. 15 vessels from 7-10 countries will be interviewed at port of Klaipeda 150 passengers from 2-3 vessels from 1-2 countries will be interviewed ar a port of Riga as a bench group Timing The research will start in June 2007 The results will be provided in September 2007
