Lesson Objective I am learning to understand the importance of a varied and balanced diet

BIEC We are going to watch a news report about an organisation known as the British Institute of Eating Control (BIEC) Talk partners – what is this organisation and what do they do? Feedback after 1min as a whole class.

News Report Watch the News Report video What does the BIEC want to do? Why do they want to introduce the ban, and fine? Does everyone agree with this? How do you know?

What do people think? Watch the News Report video again Make notes of what each person has to say (the video will be paused after each interview) Write all the points people have recorded on a large piece of paper
