Creating a zoo animal Objectives: Students will be able to: create a zoo animal using information from the story At the Zoo and classroom materials. copy zoo animal name from list created in class onto their papers. Procedure: -After reading the story, The Great Zoo Escape, by Colin McNaughton, the class and I will create a list of zoo animals. Students will use the list created to create their favorite zoo animal on a paper plate. Students will use different craft materials to do this project. After students create their zoo animal, they will write their name, and the name of that zoo animal onto their papers. Teacher will attach papers to the plates. Teacher will display zoo animals for students to see.
