LITERARY ANALYSIS #2 POETRY

POETRY ANALYSIS  Literary Analysis #2: Poetry is due on 10/24/12.

POETRY ANALYSIS  Please choose three poems. They can be from anywhere--online, our text, a magazine, etc.  For each poem, give an analysis of the meaning, the tone, and the feeling. Then, describe the poem as closed or open.

POETRY ANALYSIS  If a poem is closed form, please describe its rules.  If a poem is open, describe how the author uses things like metaphor or allusion.

POETRY ANALYSIS  Include a graphic representation for each poem. This can be drawn by you, clip art, pictures cut from magazines or newspapers, etc.

POETRY ANALYSIS  Remember to include in text citations and a works cited page.  This paper must be at least 1000 words, and this does not include the poems.
