The Zhou Dynasty by: Ben Kinnamon and Nick Malagari

Dynasty Rule The Dynasty lasted for 900 years o The Dynasty started in 1027 B.C. o It ended in 256 B.C. The founding ruler was known as King Wu o Conquered the Shang Dynasty

Important Leaders King Wu ( B.C.)- the first Emperor of the Zhou Dynasty King Li of Zhou ( B.C.)- corrupt dictator who was exiled for his poor treatment of his subjects King You of Zhou ( B.C.)- final emperor of the Western Era. o Earthquake and attack destroyed the capitol o Capitol was moved east to Luoyi, beginning the Eastern Era King Ling of Zhou ( B.C)- Confucius was born during King Ling's reign King Nan of Zhou ( B.C)- Final emperor of the Eastern Era and the Zhou Dynasty as a whole.
