Turning On the System

4 Step 1 –Plug in the power cord. It is stored in the storage tray at the front of the cart.

5 Turning On the System Step 2 –Turn on the Computer. Do this even if you’re not using the computer. The sound always goes through the computer. Computer Power

6 Turning On the System Step 3 –Turn on the speakers. Turn on both the main speakers and the Subwoofer. This is also how you adjust the volume. Pwr/Vol Treble Bass

7 Turning On the System Step 4 –Turn on the Projector. Power

8 Turning On the System Step 5 –Adjust the height of the image by tilting the projector shelf by hand. Move the whole shelf, not just the projector.

9 Turning On the System Step 6 –Adjust the zoom and focus on the Projector. Zoom/Focus

Using the Computer

11 Using the Computer Step 1 –Follow the Turn-On Instructions on Page 3. –The computer should be on. No login is required. –Microsoft Office (including Powerpoint) is installed on the computer.

12 Using the Computer Step 2 –Raise the cart lid to access the keyboard, mouse, and display.

13 Using the Computer Step 3 –Press the Input Select button on the projector until the computer display appears on the projected image. Input Select

14 Using the Computer Step 4 –Insert media into the appropriate drive. The computer accepts USB, Floppies, Memory Cards, and CDs. You can play DVDs with the computer, or you can play them with the VCR/DVD player (see page 16). CD/DVD Floppy/SD/MMC/etc. USB

15 Using the Computer Step 6 –Move your media file to the desktop or a folder. –Open your media file and begin your presentation. –The projector displays exactly what is on the display.

Using the VCR/DVD Player

17 Using the VCR/DVD Player Step 1 –Follow the Turn-On Instructions on Page 3. –The computer should be on. All sound goes through the computer.

18 Using the VCR/DVD Player Step 2 –Press the Power button on the VCR/DVD Player Power

19 Using the VCR/DVD Player Step 3 –Press the Input Select button on the projector until “Composite Video” is selected. Input Select

20 Using the VCR/DVD Player Step 4 –Press “SOURCE” button on the VCR/DVD player to select VHS tape or DVD. Source

21 Using the VCR/DVD Player Step 5 –Insert a VHS Tape or DVD into the player. –Use the separate RW/PLAY/FF buttons near the tray for each source. VHS DVD

Using a Laptop

23 Using a Laptop Step 1 –Follow the Turn-On Instructions on Page 3. –The cart computer should also be on. All sound goes through the cart computer.

24 Using a Laptop Step 2 –Lower the cart lid.

25 Using a Laptop Step 3 –Extract the laptop cable bundle from the storage area to the right of the VCR/DVD player. Laptop Cable

26 Using a Laptop Step 4 Connect the VGA and sound cables to the laptop Optionally connect the power cable to the laptop power supply.

27 Using a Laptop Step 5 –Set the laptop to output video to its external connector. –For best results, set the laptop screen resolution to 1024x768.

Turning Off the System

29 Turning Off the System Step 1 –Turn off the Projector. Wait for the projector to completely shut down before unplugging or moving OK to shut down the computer while projector is powering down Power

30 Turning Off the System Step 2 –Turn off the Computer. Do this from the desktop, or press the power button momentarily. Use the cart lid monitor to watch the shutdown progress. Computer Power

31 Turning Off the System Step 3 –Unplug in the power cord. Stored it in the storage tray at the front of the cart.

32 Turning Off the System Step 4 –Lower the cart lid.
