THE HOME FRONT Life in the United States During World War II

During World War II Hollywood got involved in the war effort. Some of these stars included the Three-Stooges. These three loved to make fun of the Axis powers.

Moe As Hitler

Comic team Oliver Hardy and Stan Laurel a.k.a. Laurel and Hardy also decided to Join the effort by promoting Civil Defense.

Even Dr. Seuss drew Cartoons for World War II.

President Harry S. Truman Received His Red Tape Cutters Certificate

Supported the effort by producing cartoons, some of which that are too racial to show.

Of course there were lots of World War II ration posters as well as recruitment and propaganda.
