Wolves
Habitat Wolves lives in many different habitats. Some wolves live in very dense forests whilst others live in cold regions such as the Arctic or on mountain ranges.
Habitat Wolves are found all over the Northern Hemisphere in countries such as Alaska, Canada, and Asia.
A Wolf Pack Wolves live in family groups called packs. A pack is made up of a mother, a father, and their baby cubs.
Diet A pack of wolves hunt together to catch their prey. Wolves are carnivorous. They travel long distances to hunt large and small animals. Wolves eat mammals, birds, fish, lizards, snakes – and fruit! Refresh and define CARNIVEROUS (from last week’s learning).
Communicating Wolves use their howl to communicate. A lone wolf may howl to attract attention. A pack of wolves may howl to send territorial messages to other packs.
