Describing The System Unit Components

 The processor is found on platforms and it is with multi-core.  A processor is used to store instructions  A Processor consists of four steps. Fetch, decode, execute, and writeback.

 The Motherboard is on the inside of the system.  The Motherboard is also known as the main board of the computer system.  The Motherboard is sometimes shortened to MOBO.

 Bios stands for Basic Input/ Output System.  The most important thing that the Bios does is load up the operating system.  The Bios is found on almost every computer system available.

 The power supply can be seen from the back of the computer system.  The power supply is a metal box that is found in the corner of the PC case.  Today’s switching power supplies are smaller and lighter than the switching power supplies that were used many years ago.

 The computer system prevents heat with heat sinks and fans.  The heat sink is designed to lower the temperature of the computer system.  Some Heat Sink may require a fan.
