OFFICE IT SECURITY Officials that are using National Population Register User ID’s -Rustenburg Region 141 -Klerksdorp Region 69 - Mmabatho Region 110 The officials use biometric access control management system to gain access on Nation Population Register ( they gain access using their fingers as pass words).

Physical Security Not all offices fitted with alarm security system Fitted ones are not supported/monitored Only one office (Klerksdorp) has electronic security systems (scanner, x-ray, monitoring camera) No long-term security contract (month-month) All security posts have been advertised All offices do not have re-enforced filling cabinets and safes

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE PROVINCE & THE LOCAL COMMUNITY Continuous community outreach programmes Formalize relations with Traditional Leaders Joint ID distribution campaigns with local government representatives Periodic IMBIZO’s participation Participation in other government departments community outreach programmes (SASSA, Labour, etc.) Forming part of the Provincial Disaster Management team for timely interaction with affected communities NB. REFUGEE RECEPTION CENTRES: The Province has no Refugee Reception Centre.
