Car Companies Even though Henry Ford didn’t make the first car he did become the 1 st person to mass produce them. Today there are many different types car companies. There are different car companies in different countries.

Types of Cars Convertibles: sports cars with a removable top. Coupes: small two door cars, sporting a roof that is inclined towards the rear. Hatchbacks: The hatchbacks is the ample cargo space and a large door to tuck in all your luggage. The cargo space of these medium sized cars is accessible from the rear seat, as opposed to the separate trunk in sedans. Sedans: These cars range from mid-sized to large models, and typically feature two rows of seats. They have a lot of space for people who occupy the rear seat as well. family cars, especially the large sedans, have a powerful engine, safe Minivans: mid-sized car that has a lot of space for passengers, as well as cargo transportation. There is a large variety when it comes to minivans. Sports Cars: two seater cars, which are designed for maximum fun of a speedy ride. Their features include a muscular engine and sleek looks, based on the laws of aerodynamics. Sport-utility Vehicles (SUV): These cars are designed for regular roads as well as off-road terrain. The features of SUVs include exceptional ground clearance, four-wheel drive and rugged styling. Though versatile, these cars can cost a fortune to own and maintain.

Cars changing through the times

 There are 3 types of gas. Three types are 87 octane, 89 and 91. Octane ratings are sort of a performance standard for gasoline.  The vast majority of cars produced for sale in the United States are designed to run on 82 octane gasoline or less, and yet you'll notice that the lowest octane gasoline you can buy in most stations is about.  High octane gasoline is really only designed to be used by high performance, high compression engines like a 12-cylinder Maserati.

Cars and Pollution The U.S. emit over 333 million tons of carbon dioxide a year Driving an SUV increases the amount of global- warming pollutants in comparison to the average cars by 43 percent. Car emissions kill 30,000 people in the US each year

Car Safety Volvo had the first safety belts in Air bags protect the driver's and occupants faces and heads from striking the hard surface interior parts of the vehicle. The bigger the car the safer it is.

We built cars because it was a better form of transportation because it took a shorter time to travel, that came with freedom. Also created more jobs via road constructions, which then strengthened the economy.
