Introduction The Budget F inancial Secretary John Tsang announced the Budget on 24 February. The three main objectives of the Budget include “Consolidating Recovery, Economic Development and Caring Society”. A fter the Budget Speech was delivered, the Financial Secretary and several government officials gave explanations on the Budget and listened to the views of the public in several media programmes. The views and expectations of different sectors of the community are also expressed through various channels.
