 Have you ever seen a saber-toothed tiger if not it is probably because they are extinct. They were the number 1 preditor in America.

 They preyed large mammals like Bison, Deer,and Horses,and possibly even Mastodons and Mammoths.  They preyed mammals larger then they are.

Saber-Tooth Tigers became extinct because of tar pits many people think they are extinct because of the ice age. Tar pits are black pits with extinct things inside it because it is very sticky.

As you can see saber tooth tigers are very cool animals and saber tooth tigers were not really tigers!!!!
