Introduction to French 2 Welcome to French 2. Get to know each other: Students introduce themseves by saying their names and their expectation in learning French. The teacher also introduces himself and tells students what to expect in French 2. Teacher gives students handouts stating important rules and expectations from students; students and parents have to read and sign.

Warm up Why did you choose to learn French? then write five sentences about interesting facts you have learned in France 1.

The teacher goes over important points such class rules and expectations: the use of the bathroom, respect to each other, raising hand before speaking and others. The teacher gives students the opportunity to ask questions or express any concern. * Each students needs note book for daily warm up and a binder for notes to study at home.

Learning French is fun, but you have to study to increase your knowledge. Students will have access to other resources (websites) to use for practice of French language at home. Review classroom commands* Practice

* Do students have a French name? * Assigned seat for each student* Viewing of touristic sites around Paris/ comments after the viewing: Handouts/ review some key elements of French 1 ** Exit Ticket**
