How An Open Healthcare System Can Be Implemented In the US

The US Misconception The Best Healthcare System in the World A System in Trouble How Can The System in Belgium Help The US to Change Its System

The US Misconception Most people living in the US believe that the US has the best healthcare system, or they believe there is nothing better. Wrong, the country of Belgium has the best healthcare program. The US is a drug companies wet dream in that US citizens pay an average of 35% to 55% more for drugs then other countries in the world.

The Best Open Healthcare System In The World The best Healthcare in the world is in Belgium. The leading causes of death in Belgium are cardiovascular and cancer diseases. After the diseases above allergies are the next leading cause for hospitalization.

A System In Trouble As the Population of Belgium rises so do the health costs. Doctors will be loosing their freedom to prescribe drugs.

A System In Trouble (Con.) Wholesalers/Pharmacies have agreements with generics as well as name brand drug companies. Those agreements are going to start hurting the wholesalers because of the number of drugs and their prices are increasing.

How Can The System in Belgium Help The US to Change Its System The biggest step would be to convince the US citizens of systems merit. The healthcare system would also take half a decade if not a decade before it would impact all the US citizens. The reform would be a major step in the right direction towards lower prices of prescription drugs.

How Can The System in Belgium Help The US to Change Its System (Con.) Maybe one day all hospital and doctor services would be less costly that the elderly can actually afford the Medicare and medical services.
