About The Spirit Squad Who can join? Any student in 4 th -8 th Grade 4 th & 5 th graders – Jr. Varsity Squad 6 th -8 th graders – Varsity Squad What is it? Performance-based team preparing students for a future in cheer & dance

Spirit Squad Contract Qualifications for all Spirit Squad Members Must be in grades 4 th -8 th here at OPA. Must attend ALL practices unless excused by coaches one hour in advance. Shall maintain at least a “B” (3.0/Proficient) average in all academic subjects. Shall maintain at least an “A” or “B” in classroom and playground behavior. Shall maintain at least an “A” or “B” in Homework.

Uniform Fittings Mandatory Uniform Fitting Tuesday, September 24 th TBA Please wear tight fitting clothes in order to make sure the uniforms fit correctly.

Optional Competition Team Try-outs Wednesday, September 25 th 7:00-7:45am (learn routine) Thursday, September 26th 7:00-7:45am (try-out) We will be looking for: Jazz technique Performance ability Costumes are included in the payment. Please refer to the Competition Team Payment sheet for more details.
