How to segment and blend words tutorial-teaching-sound-blending/
How much support shall I give my child when reading a word? What if my child does not know the sounds in a word?
At the front of reading record we will keep a diary of what children are learning in phonics. Sounds they have been taught will be highlighted off. Please note: When children are taught a new sound we ensure they are able to apply that sound confidently to reading and writing. How will I know what sounds my child knows?
