Collimation Working Group #137 Collimator Alignment Controls Patrick Bestmann20/02/2012

Controls in March 2011 Some collimators have been identified to need re-alignment. Showing an angular misalignment >1.9mrad TCLA.A7R7.B1 TCTH.4L2.B1 TCSG.A5L3.B2 Reasons identified as: conflict with adjacent vacuum chamber Installation protection added on the support IR extremities, dead end extrapolation

Results dy dx ES All 3 collimators showed a rotation around the Z axis

Controls in January 2012 List of collimators to be controlled Beam TCLA.B5R3.B1 TCSG.B5R3.B1 TCSG.A5R3.B1 TCSG.4R3.B1 TCTH.4L2.B1 changed due to X2ZDC Modifications TCTH.4L8.B1 TCSG.D4L7.B1 Beam TCSG.A6R7.B2
